Installing Aquila

Aquila is capable of jailbreaking all iOS devices on firmware versions 6.0 to 6.1.6.
Aquila is an untethered jailbreak, meaning it only requires the exploit to be run once, whether through a website, an app, or a computer.
In order to use Aquila, you will need a computer with 64-bit Windows or macOS.
Downloads
- The latest version of Aquila for your platform.
- The latest version of iTunes if on Windows.
- Make sure that you are not using the Microsoft Store version of iTunes if iTunes is already installed.
Installing Aquila
TIP
On macOS, extract the zip file before proceeding with this guide.
- Plug your device into your computer
- Run Aquila to start the jailbreaking process:
- Windows: Double-click
aquila_windows - macOS: Double-click
aquila_macOS
- Windows: Double-click
Aquila will now begin to jailbreak your device.
Once Aquila says that is Done and reboots the device, you should be jailbroken with Cydia installed on your home screen. You can use Cydia to install tweaks, themes and more.
